Prabowo: Even Though PKS Has Different Choices, We Are Still Friendly

JAKARTA - The President-elect and General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto, said that the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) is a friend even though there have been different political choices.

Prabowo made this statement after staying in touch with several PKS leaders at his private residence, Jalan Kertanegara, Jakarta, Friday, October 11.

"Yesterday, PKS had different choices, we don't mind that they have different permits. We remain friends. That's what I want in politics in Indonesia. Politics that always uphold each other. As soon as the match is over, return to cooperation," Prabowo said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, October 11.

Prabowo said the relationship between his party and PKS resulted in an agreement to establish cooperation because they both wanted to give the best to the people.

"We are aware that all elements of the leadership must be aware, must understand, and understand obligations that prioritize and prioritize the interests of the people," he said.

Therefore, his party and PKS are determined to provide the best for the Indonesian nation and people.

"Every effort to establish cooperation is something that I really appreciate and uphold," he said.

At the end of his presentation, Prabowo conveyed a rhyme to the PKS leaders who were present at the gathering.

"One or two blue cempaka, three and four in Javanese. If you find a new friend, you don't forget old friends," he said.
