A Gang Of Thieves Haunts Cipayung Residents, 2 Months Already 3 Motorcycles Lost

JAKARTA - A gang of motorbike thieves managed to steal three motorbikes on Jalan Tengki, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, Tuesday, October 10. The theft occurred in succession since the last 2 months.

Based on the victim's statement, Ficho said that he had lost his Honda Vario vehicle. The disappearance of the motorbike was only discovered when Ficho was about to return to his parents' house.

"Yes, I played at my grandmother's house, then I stopped by to eat. After eating finished I wanted to go back to my parents' house, then I saw that the motorbike was no longer in front of the fence," said Ficho at the scene.

According to him, the incident began at around 01.40 WIB. The victim had burned two cigarettes on his motorbike. After the two cigarettes were finished, Ficho decided to enter the house to eat.

"Because I was hungry, I went inside and took a meal. I ate in the front room," he said.

Ficho said that at the time of the incident there was no sound at all. He only found droplets that were thought to be chemical liquids.

Finding the missing motorbike, Ficho immediately rushed out looking for a motorbike and reported it to the RT.

"My mother's report has been reported to the Cipayung police. Apart from my motorbike being lost, previously there were also two motorbikes that were missing, the other was in front of the rented house which is not 10 meters away," he said.

Meanwhile, one resident named Endah said that another motorbike was also missing in the parking lot of the Sirojul Huda mosque. The motorbike is known to have residents who are praying Maghrib.

"The action of motorbike thieves during the congregation prayed there. Here, in two months, three motorbikes have been stolen by thieves. Residents here are afraid because many motorbikes are missing," he added.
