The Kremlin on Thursday said Britain's head of security services MI5's statement regarding Russia's military intelligence agency (GRU) would create chaos in Britain and Europe baseless and deserved to be ignored.
MI5 chief Ken McCallum said in a speech on Tuesday, the GRU "is on a sustainable mission to cause chaos on UK and European roads: we have seen burning, sabotage and more."
In response, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters Russia would not accept the allegations and the allegations did not deserve attention.
"All of these statements are completely baseless," he said.
With war backgrounds in Ukraine, European countries and NATO alliances (North Atlantic Treaty Organization) have accused Russian spies of carrying out various hostile activities across the continent in recent months.
