Vice President On Bureaucratic Reform In The Last 5 Years: Runs In The Right Corridor

JAKARTA - Vice President (Vice President) Ma'ruf Amin said that national bureaucratic reform has been running in the right corridor.

According to him, national bureaucratic reform has made significant changes to national development for nearly two decades.

"And in the last five years, we have experienced several achievements, one of which is that all government agencies have carried out bureaucratic reform," said Vice President Ma'ruf Amin while chairing the National Bureaucratic Reform Steering Committee (KPRBN) meeting at the Auditorium of the Vice Presidential Secretariat, Jakarta, Monday 7 October, was confiscated by Antara.

The Vice President explained that in 2023, 34 provinces and 270 regencies/cities will receive the title of RB category B and above. This means that the simplification of the bureaucracy has also been implemented in both the central and regional governments.

This shows that the simplification of the bureaucracy has been carried out well in the central and regional governments.

In addition, thematic bureaucratic reform has shown its impact on reducing poverty, increasing investment, and using domestic products, as well as reducing inflation.

According to the Vice President, the government also continues to develop a Public Service Mall (MPP) and a digital MPP that provides easy access to public services to the public.

"With the integration of all public services in one place, it is easier for the public to access public services," said the Vice President.

The Vice President as Chair of the National Bureaucratic Reform Steering Committee also gave appreciation to all parties who contributed to the achievement of bureaucratic reform, by emphasizing that this success cannot be separated from strong commitments and good cooperation.

However, the Vice President emphasized that this achievement was only the first step in realizing clean and accountable governance.

He hopes that bureaucratic reform in Indonesia will continue to be sustainable. "I hope that the implementation of this reform can continue and bring us closer to Indonesia's ideals towards a world-class bureaucracy," he said.
