Two Of The Three Perpetrators Of Obscenity At The Tangerang Orphanage Were Arrested, One People Fled

TANGERANG Two suspected perpetrators of sexual abuse and sodomy in one of the orphanages in the Tangerang area were arrested by the police. One of the perpetrators who fled is still being chased by police officers.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi said the two perpetrators had the initials S (49) and YB (30). Meanwhile, another perpetrator with the initials A is in pursuit.

"2 people have been named as suspects and have been detained by the Tangerang City Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit," said Ade Ary in his statement, Friday, October 4.

They were charged with Article 76 E of the Criminal Code in conjunction with 82 of the Criminal Code concerning child protection with a maximum sentence of 15 years in prison or a maximum fine of IDR 5 billion.

The victims of alleged sexual abuse and sodimi at one of Pinang's orphanage foundations, Tangerang City, amounted to 18 people.

"The 18 (victims' children) are indicated," said Head of PPA Tangerang City Metro Police, AKP Rumiyati to reporters at the Tangerang City Social Service Office (Dinsos), Friday, October 4.

Rumiyati also said that 18 victims are currently placed in safe houses with different locations.
