KPK Investigates A Number Of Projects At The Bandung City Transportation Agency Allegedly Corruption

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined four witnesses regarding the alleged corruption in the procurement of CCTV for the Bandung Smart City program. They were questioned about other projects within the Bandung City Transportation Service (Dishub).

"Witnesses were present and investigated regarding the work packages at the Bandung City Transportation Agency and their role in the auction process for the work package," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, October 3.

Tessa said the four witnesses who had fulfilled the summons on Wednesday, October 2, with the initials HN, HS, AK, and L. "The examination was carried out at the West Java PUPR Training and Training," he said.

Meanwhile, from the information collected, the witnesses who were present were as follows:

1. Heri Nurhayat as the former Head of the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (DPKAD); 2. Himawan Santoso as Commissioner of PT Connecti Bagja Abadi; 3. Asep Kurnia as the Head of Transportation and Testing for Data Collection with Motor Dishub Bandung City/ Vehicle Testing as well as Plh. Bandung City Transportation Secretary; and 4. Lukman who comes from CV Mulya Cipta Abadi Riau Street gas station.

Actually, the anti-corruption commission also summoned four other witnesses. However, Tessa said they were absent from the investigator's summons.

Those who were not present were:

1. Andreas Guntoro as a former employee of PT Sarana Mitra Adiguna;2. Satrio from CV Karya Palapa Setia;3. Didik Purnomo from CV Karya Palapa Setia; and4. Choirul Insan from PT Cipta Usaha Cemerlang.

Previously reported, the KPK has detained five suspects in this case. The details are former Bandung Regional Secretary Ema Sumarna, and former Bandung DPRD member Riantono, Achmad Nugraha, Yudi Cahyadi, and Ferry Cahyadi Rismafury.

Ema is suspected of receiving gratuities from the Transportation Service and others from 2020 to 2024. The prize was intended to launch an additional budget for the discussion of the 2022 revised APBB at the Bandung City Transportation Service.

This case is a development of a hand arrest operation (OTT) that ensnared the former Mayor of Bandung, Yana Mulyana.
