Family Of Bekasi River Victims: We Want To Know How Far It Is That Officers Are Examined By Propam Polda Metro Jaya

The family of VN (15), one of the 7 bodies who died in Kali Bekasi, is still waiting for confirmation of the results of the examination of dozens of police officers who were questioned by the Metro Jaya Police Propam regarding the deaths of 7 teenagers in Kali Bekasi, on September 22, then.

"We want to know where the officers were examined by Propam," said Maulana, VN's father when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, September 2.

The reason is, after Polda Metro Jaya stated that as many as 17 police officers from the Bekasi City Metro Police and two other police stations, Propam Polda Metro Jaya had not disclosed the results of the investigation.

"There is still something covered up, where is the transparency? I don't know the results of the examination?," he said.

Even during the funeral process for VN's body, there were no police officers who gave an explanation to the victim's family.

"Even from the investigators and whatever there is no explanation, the cause of death is this. The way it performs is like this, there is no explanation," he said.

Even the local police in the VN area only gave condolences without providing an explanation of the cause of the incident.

"The police chief only said that he was sorry. He didn't explain," he said.

A total of 17 members of the Police from the Bekasi City Metro Police, Rawa Lumbu Police and Jatiasih Police were questioned by the Propam Bid Polda Metro Jaya regarding the deaths of 7 teenagers in Kali Bekasi, Bekasi City, a few days ago.
