Agency In Kebayoran Lama Raided By Job Applicants, Deposits Money But Can't Get A Job

JAKARTA The commotion in a shop house (ruko) in the Kebayoran Lama area, South Jakarta started with a number of people who felt cheated by job vacancies. The commotion that occurred on Tuesday, October 1, almost got into a fight between the victim and the alleged perpetrator. This case went viral on social media.

Information said that job applicants were asked for some money by the company for administrative reasons.

However, after the money was given, the job they were looking for did not come out. When applicants ask for their money back, they get refused. This irritated the victims and vented their anger at the shophouse.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Kebayoran Lama Police, AKP Ivo confirmed the incident. He said the action did not last long after his party arrived at the scene.

"Yesterday there was a fuss. So yesterday, we went to the TKP. The PT coordinated with the workforce, indeed the applicants were asked for administration by the PT," said Ivo sata confirmed, Wednesday, October 2.

When asked about the amount, Ivo did not know about it. However, he confirmed that the administrative money had been returned.

"Almost, but members quickly went straight to the crime scene. So after being mediated, the money was immediately returned to the applicant. After being returned, the applicants returned in an orderly manner," he said.

He ensured that there were no casualties or injuries in the commotion. Ivo also ensured that no property was damaged in the commotion.

"No injuries or property were damaged. That's why there were no reports," he concluded
