Bakamla Building Fire, Worst Area On 6th Floor Of The Komnas Perempuan Office

The fire that occurred at the Indonesian Maritime Security Agency (Bakamla) building in Menteng area, Central Jakarta, has entered the cooling stage.

Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes, Susatyo Purnomo Condro said the worst damage occurred on the 6th floor. The floor is also located by the Komnas Perempuan office.

"That's the Komnas Perempuan building, it can be seen that the 6th floor is still in bad condition," said Susatyo, September 29.

Meanwhile, the 3rd floor of the Bakamla Building, which was also affected, was filled with the Bung Karno Foundation office.

"And the burned area is on the floors of 6.5.4 and 3, and in part two, we will see later after it is finished," he said.

Meanwhile, for the Bakamla office area, said Susatyo, a number of important documents have been secured. However, to ascertain whether there were some documents burned. Later, Bakmla will conduct an examination.

"We continue to be with Bakamla for important documents, important items have been secured so that after this is finished, a re-examination will be carried out from Bakamla," he said

Regarding the loss of life, he confirmed that until now there has been no report regarding this information.

"There were no casualties, the picket officers reported no casualties either. (Regarding the explosion) There were no explosions, but we are still investigating gathering the witnesses, both the handymen who worked because they were inside the building the builders, "said the Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief.
