6 Youth Bringing Sajam Attacks Cibadak Market Sukabumi, Police: Because Of The Call For A Brawl

The police revealed the motive of a group of youths acting on behalf of the 'Parungkuda Comeback' attacking Cibadak Market, Sukabumi Regency, on Thursday 19 September at around 01.00 WIB.

"The attack carried out by six young men with sharp weapons from the Parungkuda Comeback group was due to a brawl from another youth group on behalf of Cibadak Street," said Sukabumi Police Chief Samian in Sukabumi, Friday, September 27, which was confiscated by Antara.

According to Samian, it is suspected that the Cibadak Street group fled to Cibadak Market, along with the incident there were several youths in charge of guarding the parking.

The Parungkuda Comeback group thought the parking attendant was its arch-enemy, Cibadak Street. Finally, there was a clash between the parking manager and the Parungkuda Comeback group.

After attacking Cibadak Market, the group then fled to Parungkuda District.

The attack, which had gone viral on social media, made it easier for personnel from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cibadak Police and the Sukabumi Police Satreskrim to arrest the perpetrators because they were helped by CCTV footage that went viral on social media.

In addition, from the development of the case, it turned out that the Cibadak Street group was not at the location. They are only provoked by unclear information that causes others to become victims.

The perpetrators who were arrested used the scientific proof method in investigating crimes based on social media, which went viral, were identified, namely AP (21), VA (20), AR (19), H (22), G (29) and AS (16) who were children in conflict with the law.

The perpetrators are subject to Article 2 paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 which carries a maximum prison sentence of 10 years.

Then Article 170 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) to 1e of the Criminal Code with the threat of imprisonment for a maximum of 7 years, and Article 406 paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code with a maximum threat of 2 years and 8 months in prison.

Children in conflict with law are subject to Article 38 paragraph (2) UURI 11/2008 concerning information and electronic transactions in conjunction with Article 1 paragraph (3) UURI 11/2012 concerning the juvenile criminal justice system.

For the evidence confiscated, three motorcycles, swords, cast ducks and iron pipes with a knife in the end were confiscated.
