The Chairman Of The DPRD Was Summoned By The KPK Regarding Allegations Of Corruption At The Semarang City Government

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) summoned six witnesses related to allegations of corruption within the Semarang City Government. Among them are the Chairperson of the 2019-2024 Semarang City DPRD Kadar Lusman.

"The investigation was carried out at the Semarang Polrestabes on behalf of KL as the Chair of the 2019-2024 Semarang City DPRD," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Thursday, September 26.

Tessa also said that investigators examined other witnesses, namely the Chairman of Commission A of the Semarang City DPRD 2019-2024 MA; Deputy Chairman of Commission D of the Semarang City DPRD RAW; AR and EY as civil servants; and BS as private.

Meanwhile, based on the information obtained by the witnesses, namely the Chairperson of Commission A of the 2019-2024 Semarang City DPRD Meidiana Kuswara; Rahmulyo Adi Wibowo as Deputy Chairman of Commission D of the Semarang City DPRD 2019-2024; Agus Rochim as Secretary of the Semarang City Trade Office; Secretary of the Semarang City Disdukcapil Erwidati Yuliandri; and a private company named Budi Susilo.

Tessa has not detailed the material for the examination of the witnesses. Likewise present or not.

Previously reported, the KPK began investigating three alleged corruption crimes within the Semarang City Government (Pemkot). The details are the procurement of goods and services within the Semarang City Government in 2023-2024, the alleged extortion of civil servants related to incentives for collecting taxes and levies in the Semarang City area, as well as the alleged receipt of gratuities in 2023-2024.

Searches have been carried out in various locations such as in the cities of Semarang, Kudus, Salatiga, and others. From there, documents up to Rp1 billion and 9,650 euros were found as well as dozens of watches allegedly related to the case.

In this case, four people have been prevented from leaving the country for six months. They are Hevearita Gunaryanti Rahayu or Mbak Ita who is the Mayor of Semarang, Chairman of Commission D of the Central Java DPRD who is also the husband of Mbak Ita, Alwin Basri; Chairman of the Association of Indonesian National Construction Implementers (Gapensi) Semarang City, Martono; and Rahmat Djangkar who is a private party.
