1 Of 2 Perpetrators Of HP Robbery In Bandung Entered The Culverts Arrested

JABAR - The police managed to arrest one of the two perpetrators of a smartphone or cellphone robbery who had been hiding into a culvert on Ibrahim Adjie Street, Kebonwaru Village, Batununggal District, Bandung City on Tuesday, September 24 evening.

Batununggal Police Chief Iptu Yoeri said another perpetrator managed to escape towards Kiara Artha Park after his action was caught by local residents who chased the two perpetrators.

"Meanwhile, one of them entered the culverts. Currently, the perpetrator has been arrested and claims to be named Sidik Nurfadilah," Yoeri said in Bandung, Wednesday, September 25, which was confiscated by Antara.

Yoeri said, according to the victim's statement, the action of the two perpetrators occurred at 21.00 WIB. The victim at that time was stopping his motorbike on the side of the road because he was about to deliver goods to a cell phone buyer.

When he arrived around the Kiara Artha Park area, the victim contacted the telephone seller on the side of the road. Suddenly the victim was approached by two perpetrators who asked where the road was.

"When the victim answered that the perpetrator immediately took the phone that was in the hands of the victim. The perpetrator went straight to the stop and stopped. The victim chased the perpetrator and hit his motorbike into the perpetrator's motorbike. Both motorbikes fell," he said.

When the perpetrator's motorbike fell, he said, one perpetrator ran towards the Taman Kiara Arta area, while another perpetrator entered the culverts. Residents who knew about this incident then gathered to look for the perpetrators.

Furthermore, Yoeri revealed that because it was difficult to find the perpetrators, his party then summoned the Bandung City Fire and Disaster Management Service (Diskar PB) for assistance to enter the culverts to bring the perpetrators.

"It will take about three hours for the perpetrators to finally be issued at around 01.00 WIB in the morning," he said.

Meanwhile, after successfully evacuating the perpetrators from the culverts, the police immediately led the suspect to the cell phone theft to the Sartika Asih Hospital in Bandung City to get further treatment before an examination was carried out.
