Promise To Give Residentials To Residents Of Kampung Bayam If They Win The Gubernatorial Election, Pramono Makes A Political Contract?

JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung's candidate promise will solve the problems of the residents of Kampung Bayam which have not yet been resolved. If they win the Jakarta gubernatorial election, Pramono will give the keys to the housing of Kampung Susun Bayam (KSB) to the residents of Kampung Bayam.

Pramono also promised to meet the residents of Kampung Bayam in their temporary residence in the near future. This was revealed by Pramono directly in front of the Kampung Bayam group who attended the "Another Pram" event.

"The business of Kampung Bayam, if I am given a mandate, I will finish it more than a month. That is the task of the leader to dare to do something that may not be popular," Pramono said at M Bloc Space, South Jakarta, Saturday, September 21.

Pramono also had a dialogue with the head of the Tani Group in Kampung Bayam Madani, Muhammad Furqon to discuss the issue of KSB housing which has not been obtained by the residents of Kampung Bayam.

According to Pramono, the promise of the former Governor of DKI Jakarta to hand over the housing keys to residents affected by the eviction of the construction of the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS) must be completed.

"There are 133 families who should have the right to occupy (Kampung Susun Bayam), including rentals which at that time agreed Rp600 thousand, yes carried out. Thus, that is the key to solving the problem of Kampung Bayam," Pramono explained.

Pramono was also offered a paper containing demands from the residents of Kampung Bayam to fulfill it if he became Governor of Jakarta. Pramono also signed the agreement requested so that the residents of Kampung Bayam could inhabit the KSB which is located next to JIS.

However, Pramono did not want to be considered the signing of the commitment to settle Kampung Bayam as a political contract as did Anies Baswedan with the residents of Tanah Merah Village in the 2017 gubernatorial election.

"It's not a political contract. But the commitment of people who want to be given the mandate to teach the governor candidate and if that happens, then I will finish it," Pramono explained.

KSB was founded since the leadership of former DKI Governor Anies Baswedan. When inaugurated in October 2022, Anies promised KSB to become a residence for residents affected by the eviction of JIS development.

However, residents of Kampung Bayam and PT Jakpro as the management BUMD did not find an agreement regarding the KSB rental rate. The dead end continued until the leadership was replaced by the Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono. Now, the DKI Provincial Government is offering residents of Kampung Bayam to inhabit other flats that will be built.
