TBRC Survey, Faiz-Suyono's Electability Unggungli Fallas-Ahmad In The Batang Pilkada

JAKARTA - The West East Research Center (TBRC) survey institute released an electoral survey in the regional head election (Pilkada) at the regent's level in the Batang Regency, Central Java. As a result, the candidate for Regent and Deputy Regent of Batang, Faiz Kurniawan-Suyono, is superior to his competitors.

Executive Director of TBRC Johanes Romeo said that in popularity, the Faiz Kurniawan-Suyono pair had a higher popularity of 83.9 percent compared to the Fallas-Ahmad Ridwan pair with a total popularity rate of only 67.6 percent.

While survey findings in the aspect of acceptability, the Faiz Kurniawan-Suyono pair had a higher level of acceptability of 88.1 percent compared to the Fallas-Ahmad Ridwan pair hearing that the acceptability rate was only 64.8 percent.

"Electabilitas dan popularitas Faiz Kurniawan-Suyono sebagai pasangan calon bupati dan wakil bupati Batang 2024 semakin undenisah. Karena, hasil survei menunjukkan bahwa pasangan Faiz Kurniawan-Suyono memperoleh suara sebesar 56,2 persen," ujar Johanes dalam keterangannya, Sabtu, 21 September.

The Fallas-Ahmad Ridwan pair got 33.3 percent of the votes. While the rest have not made a choice of 10.5 percent.

Then, based on an open question simulation, with the choice of Top of Mind, the pair's electability rate Faiz Kurniawan-Suyono is 42.7 percent. Meanwhile, the Fallas-Ahmad Ridwan pair got 30.4 percent and those who have not decided to choose were 26.9 percent.

For closed questions related to the electability level with names being offered, photos of the two regent and deputy regent candidate pairs in the questionnaire, candidate pair Faiz Kurniawan-Suyono who received the most support were 56.2 percent.

"Furthermore, the Fallas-Ahmad Ridwan pair received 33.3 percent support and 10.5 percent did not provide support," said Johanes.

TBRC also conducted a survey regarding factors that influenced voters' decisions in choosing the Regent and Deputy Regent of Batang. The findings of TBRC show that the candidate pair work program is the dominant factor in determining the choice of 40.6 percent.

Then, candidate pairs who are able to create jobs are 30.2 percent, the personality of the candidate is 7.9 percent. Meanwhile, other factors get a percentage of less than 5 percent.

"Regarding the background of the candidate, placing the candidate who comes as a professional has the highest percentage of 53.3 percent. Furthermore, 22.9 percent of politicians and 23.8 percent of community leaders are important considerations for voters in determining their choices," he said.

It was revealed that the high electability of the candidate pair for regent and deputy regent of Batang, Faiz Kurniawan-Suyono, was influenced by the positive performance rating of the Deputy Regent of Suyono.

"Where based on the survey results, the performance approval of Deputy Regent Suyono showed a positive trend with a level of community satisfaction of 74.1 percent with a composition of 49.3 percent satisfied and 24.8 percent very satisfied," said Johanes.

Meanwhile, a survey was conducted in the period 6-16 September 2024 in 15 sub-districts in Batang Regency.

The data collection method is carried out through face-to-face interviews with the 1200 selected respondents. use a multistage random sampling method. The error rate/Margin of Error (MoE) -/+ 2.83 percent and the confidence level is 95 percent.
