2 West Aceh ASN Suspects Of Soybean Corruption Handed Over To The Prosecutor's Office

Investigators from the West Aceh Police Criminal Investigation Unit handed over two ASN within the West Aceh Regency Government with the initials TA and JD, to the local state prosecutor's office regarding the alleged corruption in the soybean production program for the 2016 fiscal year.

"The two suspects that we handed over today, after the case file was declared complete or P-21 by the public prosecutor (JPU) of the West Aceh District Attorney," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Aceh Police, Iptu Fachmi Suciandy, as reported by ANTARA, Friday, September 20.

In this case, investigators found indications of alleged state financial losses reaching more than Rp465 million.

Iptu Fachmi Suciandy said that previously one of the suspects with the initials JD had been detained at the West Aceh Police Headquarters in early August 2024, related to the investigation of the alleged corruption case that is currently being investigated.

"Suspect JD was detained after investigators carried out a series of developments in this case," he said.

Then the suspect TA has also been detained by investigators after he was named a suspect in the case.

This case stems from a soybean production management program sourced from the 2016 State Budget managed by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia through a budget for assistance duties at the DIPA Satker of the Agriculture and Horticulture Service of Aceh Province.

Based on an audit by the Aceh Supreme Audit and Development Agency (BPKP), it was found that irregularities in the implementation of state financial programs and losses reached more than Rp465 million.
