JAKARTA - Deputy Chairperson of the Gerindra Party, Habiburokhman emphasized that the elected President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto and the Labor Party are not foreigners.

This was conveyed by Habiburokhman when representing Prabowo attending the commemoration of the 3rd Anniversary of the Labor Party at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta, Wednesday, September 18, 2024.

Habiburokhman explained that his General Chairperson canceled attending the Patria Labor event because there was an assignment as Minister of Defense that could not be abandoned.

"Pak Prabowo and the Labor Party are not foreigners," Habiburokhman told reporters at Istora Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 18.

In fact, Habiburokhman said that Prabowo could also be elected as president of the Republic of Indonesia because of the support and prayers of the workers since a dozen years ago.

"Kami menyadari bahwa Pak Prabowo bisa jadi presiden hari ini terpilih juga karena berharap-RAYannya teman-teman yang sekarang ada di Partai Buruh sejak belalu tahun lalu ya," katanya.

Habiburokhman understands that there are different paths between Gerindra and the Labor Party in several election events. Nevertheless, he said, the support of workers in Indonesia for Prabowo never faded.

Moreover, said Habiburokhman, Prabowo and the Labor Party have the same vision, namely rejecting the ekomonials of capitalism and the economy of neoliberalism.

"These two things are also the spirit of the Labor party after there are very substantial similarities between Pak Prabowo and colleagues from the Labor party," explained Habiburokhman.
