JAKARTA - Special Staff (Staffsus) from the General Chair of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) for the period 2021-2026, Arif Rahman, became a victim of alleged beatings. As a result of the incident, Arif suffered bruises on his temples and head.

"Lebam on my temple and bruises on my left ear," said Arif to VOI, Wednesday, September 18.

The beating began when Arif arrived at Kadin's office in the Kuningan Timur area, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 17. Then, an unknown group of people was seen.

Stafsus Arsjad Rasjid also contacted Taufan because it was believed that the unknown person was part of it. In the communication, Arif asked Anindya Bakrie's sister-in-law to meet him.

"So I spoke with Taufan, because Taufan was representing the Kadin who felt that the munaslub was true and I represented Mr. Arsjad. I am conveying the discussion with Taufan, Kadin is the Presidential Decree, so as long as the Presidential Decree is still valid, we have the right to occupy the office and even then we rent it," explained Arif.

At the conversation, Arif also asked parties outside the Chamber of Commerce and Industry or parties without interest to leave the office.

At that time, Umar Kei, one of the unknown people, threw him with a drink can and hit his temple right.

In fact, said Arif, two people attacked him from the left side. As a result of the attack, Arsjad Rasjid staff suffered bruises.

"Well, when I said that those outside Kadin came out, Umar Kei was angry, it seemed. He immediately took a can of light drinks and threw me, my temple was hit," said Arif.
