JAKARTA - A plane containing 103 Russian prisoners arrived in Moscow. Hundreds of detainees were previously arrested by Ukrainian troops on the Kursk border.
Citing Tass, Sunday, September 15, the arrival of the Rusa soldiers detained by Ukraine was broadcast on Zvezda television station.
The detainees were transported by Il-76 aircraft and landed at the Chkalovsky airfield on the outskirts of Moscow.
Hundreds of Russian soldiers were then taken to the Russian Defense Ministry's health facility for treatment and rehabilitation.
The arrival of hundreds of Russian prisoners after 103 Ukrainian prisoners were released under a prisoner swap agreement between the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Saudi Arabian-mediated Ukraine.
