Police Open Peaceful Opportunities For Bullying Case At Binus School Simprug, Victim's Family Wants Further Legal Process

JAKARTA - The police opened up opportunities for restorative justice or peace in cases of alleged bullying and sexual harassment of students with the initials RE at the Binus School Simprug school, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.

"It seems like I see it, because both parties want it," said Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Nurma Dewi, to reporters, Friday, September 13.

He said that currently the alleged victim of bullying together with the reported party had carried out a mediation process at the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"Initially they were invited because both parties really wanted to. Yes, they have been bridged," he said.

Meanwhile, the victim's father, Sudiarmon, said that his party had held a meeting with the perpetrator's family at the South Jakarta Metro Police.

"Cases of persecution, I have negotiated this issue with my wife, with our children and our extended family," S told reporters.

Sudiarmon confirmed that he would not make peace with the alleged perpetrators. He emphasized that he would continue this case until the trial.

"After conducting a long negotiation, so we decided to continue this case to the court. Whatever the conditions and conditions, we are ready to resolve this case until it is finished, to the court, in accordance with applicable law," he said.
