JAKARTA - Two men committed the theft of the Transjakarta Bus Stop floor at Pasar Cakung, Jalan Rata Bekasi, Cakung District, East Jakarta. The theft of the iron floor was carried out by cutting and rolling, using tools that had been prepared by the perpetrators.

The Transjakarta bus stop is known to belong to a BUMD company under the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. However, Transjakarta has not yet made a police report regarding the theft.

"Regarding the viral incident at the theft of iron, until now there has been no report on the police. However, we from the East Jakarta Metro Police and the Cakung Police will try to carry out an investigation," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed, Friday, September 13.

The perpetrators are still under police investigation even though other facial and identity videos have been clearly recorded by the residents' amateur cameras that went viral on social media.

"Until now, it is still under investigation and there has also been no report to the police," he said.

While the impact of the damaged bus stop conditions, several prospective Transjakarta bus passengers waited outside the bus stop.
