JAKARTA - The legal dispute between senior musician Fariz RM and young singer Syahravi entered a new phase. Feeling his dignity and dignity were dropped through one-sided accusations, Syahravi officially reported Fariz RM back to the Polda Metro Jaya for alleged defamation.

This legal step was taken because the Fariz RM party openly called Syahravi's full name without initials and accused him of illegally singing the song "Di Antara Kata".

Syahravi's lawyer, Elza Syarief, expressed his objection to the narrative built by the Fariz RM party. According to him, the accusation had damaged the reputation of his client, who has always been known as a polite musician and always brings his own work.

"With the news, it has greatly lowered the dignity and public trust in our client who has struggled for 11 years to create an image and branding for himself," said Elza Syarief in a press conference in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Monday, June 29.

In fact, said Elza, based on the digital evidence he had, Fariz RM had previously agreed, signed the album cover, and even praised the arrangement of the song worked by Syahravi in the compilation album project formed by producer SN.

Furthermore, the Syahravi party assessed that Fariz RM deliberately shifted his internal problems with the SN producer to junior musicians.

"The loss is of course my good name and intentions in the public eye, in my opinion," said Syahravi in a disappointed tone.
