Parked For 2 Years At Thamrin Residences, This Is What Harun Masiku's Car Looks Like

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) found a car belonging to its fugitive, Harun Masiku, which was parked for two years at Thamrin Residence. This vehicle was identified last June.

As for the photos obtained from the source, the Toyota Camry sedan type car around 2003. The license plate and number plate B 8351 WB with tax information expires in March 2021.

In the photo, a car is seen parked in the basement. This finding was conveyed by the Chairman of the KPK, Nawawi Pomolango, when he said that the search for Harun Masiku was continuing.

"Harun Masiku, we never stop, keep looking," said Nawawi Pomolango in Bogor, Thursday, September 12.

"What we found earlier, yesterday we got the cars he parked for years. That's what might be obtained," he continued.

Meanwhile, the Director of Investigation of the KPK, Asep Guntur Rahayu, said that investigators had found documents. However, he did not specify for sure.

"In the car, documents related to HM (Harun Masiku) were found," he said on Thursday night.

Asep said the car belonging to Harun Masiku was found in Thamrin Residence, Jakarta on June 25, 2024. "It has been parked for 2 years," he explained.

As previously reported, Harun Masiku has now been a fugitive for four years or since 2020. This escape was carried out after being named a suspect in the bribery of former KPU Commissioner Wahyu Setiawan to serve as a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives through the interim replacement mechanism (PAW).

In this case, the KPK asked the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) to prevent five people from leaving the country. One of them is the staff of the Secretary General of PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto, Kusnadi.
