Holding Pena, Prabowo Notes President Jokowi's Directions At IKN

JAKARTA - Minister of Defense (Menhan) Prabowo Subianto listened and noted carefully the briefing of President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to TNI and Polri officials at the State Palace, the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan (Kaltim), Thursday 12 September.

Prabowo, who is also the President-Elect of the Republic of Indonesia on that occasion, seemed to be holding a pen and a small note. He listened and then noted President Jokowi's direction which was deemed important.

During the event, President Widodo conveyed many messages to TNI and Polri officials, one of whom asked the TNI and Polri to always be humane.

Jokowi also asked the TNI and Polri to help ensure security stability.

"Once again, our country Indonesia needs stability to grow, it needs stability to carry out development. It is impossible for countries that are in conflict to build. It is impossible," said the President in his direction, confiscated by Antara.

He said that maintaining stability requires the role of members of the TNI and Polri who are professional and trusted by the people.
