Involved In Drugs To Harassment, 9 Members Of The Bali Police Disrespectful Fired

DENPASAR - Bali Regional Police Chief (Kapolda) Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya dismissed as many as nine members of the National Police who were involved in criminal acts both serving in the Bali Police, Polres/Polresta ranks and in the Sector Police.

This was conveyed by the Head of Public Relations of the Bali Police, Kombes Police Jansen Avitus Panjaitan in Denpasar, as reported by ANTARA Wednesday, September 11, 2024.

"The Bali Police have given punishment / punishment for dishonorable dismissal (PTDH) to nine members of the Bali Police and ranks," said Jansen.

The punishment has also been officially carried out when Bali Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya led the morning rally in the front yard of the Police Headquarters on Monday.

Jansen did not explain in detail the case that resulted in the nine members of the National Police being fired. However, Jansen said the members who were fired were involved in criminal acts of violence and sexual harassment, fraud and theft, to drug abuse and adultery.

The average member who was fired was involved in a drug abuse case. However, their role in the case was not explained in detail by the Bali Police. Likewise, the clarity regarding the legal process for the nine members involved in the crime was not disclosed by Jansen.

From the data collected from the Bali Police, most of the members who were fired had the rank of Bripka or Brigadier Police Chief. The nine members were removed based on the decision of the Bali Police Chief at different times.

The member who was removed from his membership as Polri for being involved in acts of violence and sexual harassment was Aiptu Mario Ferreira who served in the Directorate of the Bali Police of Water and Air (Ditpolairud).

Two members were involved in the crime of theft, namely Bripda Putu Aditya Prabowo on duty at the Bali Police Ditpolairud and Bripka Komang Rai Puspa who served at the Jembrana Police.

Aipda Made Karma Wiryana, who served at the Denpasar Police, was fired for adultery.

Five other people who were fired for being involved in drug abuse, namely Bripka Nyoman Gede Yudiana who served at Yanma Polda Bali, Bripka Wayan Suartana served at the Denpasar Police, Bripka Nyoman Permana Kusuma who served at the South Kuta Police, Aipda Nyoman Sardika served at the Buleleng Police, Bripka Nyoman Alit Astawa at the Badung Police.

"The nine people according to TMT (Starting Dates) are no longer members of the National Police," said Jansen.

The former Denpasar Police Chief said that the Bali Police really regretted the existence of this PTDH. However, the police officer could no longer be fostered, so the Bali Police Chief decided to take firm action to dismiss members of the National Police.

For this incident, Jansen hopes that all members of the Bali Police and ASN Polda and ranks will carry out their duties properly, iklas and with a full sense of responsibility.
