Marijuana Cultivation On The Roof Of The House, 2 Teenagers In Mataram NTB Arrested

NTB - Police arrested two teenagers with the initials R and A who are suspected of cultivating marijuana plants on the roof of their house in Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).

Head of the Mataram Police Narcotics Unit, AKP I Gusti Ngurah Bagus Suputra, said that from the arrest, a marijuana tree was secured in four polybag pots.

"We managed to carry out the arrests thanks to follow-up to field information. The arrests were at R's house," said Bagus in Mataram, NTB, Tuesday, September 10, which was confiscated by Antara.

In addition to the cannabis plant with a height of up to 1 meter, the police also found cannabis seeds, dried marijuana, cash allegedly from the sale of marijuana, and cellphones (HP) belonging to the two teenagers.

From the results of the interim examination, the police suspect that the two are involved in the cannabis business by relying on independent production results.

"The confession, it's been a month and a half (cannabis plant). They also sell at a varied price depending on the order," he said.

For the origin of the cannabis seeds, Bagus said that the two perpetrators received from online purchases.

"So, this plant is the result of buying seeds online (online)," he said.

The two perpetrators in front of the police also recognized them as active users of the marijuana-type drugs.

Furthermore, Bagus said that his party still has six days to determine the status of the two perpetrators.

"So, to be sure from this handling, their legal status, we still have to do a few things, such as urine checks and laboratory tests on evidence," he said.

Therefore, Bagus ensured that the two perpetrators were still detained by the police at the Mataram Police Headquarters.
