JAKARTA - The Indonesian national team will face Australia in the third round of the 2026 World Cup Qualification at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK). Regarding security, 2,335 security personnel were deployed.

"Polda Metro Jaya has reduced 2,335 joint personnel," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indradi to reporters, Monday, September 9.

The thousands of personnel are a combination of Polda Metro Jaya, Kodam Jaya, Polres Metro Central Jakarta, and Pemerintah Daerah (Pemda).

In the security scheme implemented, the thousands of personnel will be placed outside the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium.

Meanwhile, security inside the stadium is a steward in accordance with international standards.

"Joint personnel, the regional police, then the Central Jakarta Metro Police, colleagues from the Jaya Regional Military Command, including the Jakarta Military District Commander and also stakeholders, there are ambulances, there are transportation offices, Satpol PP," he said.

Regarding the diversion of traffic flow, Ade said it would be enforced. However, it has not been conveyed about the details.

The Regional Police said that my traffic engineering would be situational so that its implementation would refer to the condition of traffic flow.

"There may be situational traffic engineering," he said.
