Israel Launches Bombing, Cellular Communication And Internet In Gaza Breaks Sunday Night

JAKARTA - Mobile and internet communications on Sunday night were cut off in the central and southern regions of the Gaza Strip due to Israeli aggression, as the death toll in the Palestinian enclave continued to grow.

The WAFA correspondent reported that cellular and Internet communications were cut off in the central and southern regions of the Gaza Strip due to the destruction of the transmitter and booster towers by Israeli forces, as quoted September 9.

Meanwhile, Palestinian Red Crescent Society also said that they were facing difficulties communicating with emergency operating rooms in the Gaza Strip, as a result of damage to communication networks.

It said Israel deliberately cut off internet communications and services networks in the Gaza Strip, preventing special crews from improving it, to prevent Palestinians from communicating with each other, preventing journalists from broadcasting and covering crimes committed against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, since the latest conflict broke out on October 7, 2023.

Separately, a Palestinian child was killed and several residents injured in an Israeli attack on the east of Gaza on Sunday night.

The death and injuries from Israeli artillery fire targeting a house in the Tuffah neighborhood to the east of the city were evacuated to the Baptist Hospital in Gaza City.

Health authorities in Gaza confirmed on Sunday that the death toll there since the latest conflict broke out had reached 40,972 people, while about 94,761 people were injured.
