JAKARTA - Two foreign students died after a single accident while riding a motorcycle on Jalan Dr. Wahidin, Semarang City, Central Java, Saturday morning.

Semarang City Police Chief Police Commissioner Irwan Anwar said the two victims were known to be Madagascar and Rwanda students.

The identities of each victim, namely Christophe Raheison Jean (25), a Madagascar citizen as a motorcycle driver and Jean De Dieu Muhayimana (32) a Rwandan citizen who rides a motorcycle.

"The two victims suffered head injuries, they are already being treated in the morgue of Kariadi Hospital," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, September 7.

From witness testimony, the accident began when the two rode a Honda Beat motorcycle with police number B 3908 UJN which was traveling from north to south.

The driver allegedly could not control the speed of the motorbike until it fell and hit the pavement and a telephone pole.
