JAKARTA - The police revealed the motive for the suspect Ahmad Saripudin to kill his wife Febriana Fatmawati at her home on Jalan Sepat, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Gogo Galesung, said the motive was because the victim had an affair with another man. Even the suspect just found out his wife was cheating when Ahmad contacted his son.

The incident began when Ahmad, who came home from work as a restaurant waitress, returned home. It turned out that when he was at the house of the victim and his son, he was not at his residence on July 17, 2024.

Ahmad also contacted his wife. However, at that time, Febriana did not respond to the summons made by the suspect.

A week later the US perpetrator just found out that the FF victim was in Medan and then went to Kerinci. And on July 25 the FF victim contacted the US perpetrator and told the US perpetrator that 'I am already happy. I have worked at the paper factory'," said Gogo, imitating the victim.

However, Ahmad knew that it was just a scheme. Therefore, he told the victim to go home immediately.

After that the US perpetrator replied 'That's enough, don't act anymore. Because I already know everything. Already home, sorry for our child.' Those are the words of the suspect," he said.

"Then the victim FF asked the US perpetrator for a fee to return to Jakarta. And on August 30, 2024, the US perpetrator, who had just received a salary, immediately transferred Rp1,150,000. to the FF victim to buy a bus ticket from Kerinci to Jakarta," he continued.

The same thing was said by the Head of Pasar Minggu Police, Kompol Anggiat Sinambela. He said the victim fled from the house to leave with his mistress.

"So according to the perpetrator's statement. On July 17, 2024, the victim was found to have cheated and fled to Medan with his 5-year-old son. One week later he fled to Jambi to the Kerinci area. After communication (the perpetrator) with the victim, the victim was bought a ticket by the perpetrator to return to Jakarta," he said.

After the victim and the perpetrator lived in the same house, soon they got back to an argument, even from the debate, the victim conveyed his words asking for a divorce.

Ahmad was furious until finally dark eyes. Then took a knife and stabbed the victim to death.
