JAKARTA - More than 300 unidentified bodies were found in a mass grave in Royton, Oldham, England.
The number found was identified as 273 bodies of children consisting of 145 babies and 128 toddlers, as well as 29 other adults.
Citing Metro.co.uk, Friday, September 6, the discovery of the 3.6 meter x 3.6 meter grave began with a woman from the area looking for the grave of her twin brother who died in 1962.
The woman said her parents had never been told where her twin sister died during the delivery process because she was immediately taken by the hospital.
Meanwhile, local council members believe that this may not be the only mass grave at Royton Cemetery.
The reason is that it became common in the 1980s, for babies who died during childbirth, they were buried without details of the burial location.
Adults found in the mass graves are most likely from families unable to pay for proper funerals.
