Supported By Prabowo-Gibran Volunteers, Ridwan Kamil Is Believed To Be In Line With The Central Government

JAKARTA - A total of 33 Volunteer Communities throughout Jakarta have declared their support for the Candidate for Governor and Deputy Governor of the Special Region of Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono in the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) contestation.

Former Golf Commander of the Prabowo-Gibran National Campaign Team (TKN), Haris Rusly Moti, expressed his support as a follow-up to the decision of the President, Prabowo, who brought Ridwan Kamil-Suswono.

"Today we are all gathered here to jointly compete again to win the pair who have been ordered to be promoted by Pak Prabowo as the President-elect in 2024-2029," Moti said in the Ampera area, South Jakarta, Sunday, September 1.

This declaration of support was made at the launching of the Jalak Troops, a movement born from the Great Family House (RKB), a volunteer supporting Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka in the 2024 presidential election (Pilpres).

Not only that, the declaration of support is based on the belief that Jakarta under the leadership of Ridwan Kamil will be more advanced. Then, it is important to choose a regional leader candidate who is in line with Prabowo-Gibran.

"We do not want the governors, regents, mayors to be in opposition to the central government, as regional heads constitutionally they should be in harmony and subject to implementing central government policies," Moti said.

"We hope that the Jakarta and Regional Head Elections simultaneously to elect Governors, Regents and Mayors throughout Indonesia will be cool, harmonious and peaceful. There should be no SARA clashes," he continued.

Moreover, Ridwan Kamil also has a lot of experience, ranging from Architects, the Mayor of Bandung, and the Governor of West Java. So, it is considered that it can make development needed by Jakarta residents.

The combination of volunteers consisting of various levels of society and various backgrounds hopes that Ridwan Kamil and Suswono can continue the glory of Jakarta in the Ali Sadikin era.

"I hope that Bang Emil (Ridwan Kamil) and Babe Ono (Suswono) will become protectors who can reach Jakarta even better in the future, I think that's our hope from the Prabowo- Gibran community," said Moti.

"Hopefully a leader will be born who supports the Prabowo-Gibran program and not become the government's opinion," he added.

On this occasion, Ridwan Kamil and Suswono thanked the volunteers for declaring their support.

"I am here with Babe Ono to thank you for the good intentions of presenting a better Republic led by the people we value to bring the spirit of a prosperous Indonesia," said Ridwan Kamil.

The man who is now known as Bang Emil Ini promised to be upright with the Prabowo-Gibran government program. Moreover, he is the Head of the Prabowo-Gibran Regional Campaign Team (TKD) in West Java.

"If we win, Pak Prabowo has one frequency with us, that's the important thing, he is calm, he is focused, Jakarta was sent by me by the head of the TKD for the regional campaign team," said Ridwan Kamil.
