Police Pursue Identity Of 3 Gondol Motor Robbers After Swinging Sickles At Riders In South Tangerang

TANGERANG - A motorcycle rider with the initials A (49) was robbed by three sharp gunmen (sajam) of the type of sickle in South Tangerang (Tangsel).

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indardi said the incident began when the victim was driving his motorbike. Suddenly three people riding a motorbike grabbed the victim's left hand with a sickle.

"The perpetrator who was carrying a machete attacked the victim's left hand," said Ade Ary in his statement, Sunday, September 1.

The frightened victim then handed over his motorbike to the perpetrators.

"Furthermore, out of fear, the victim immediately left his motorbike which was still alive," he continued.

Not long after, the victim made a police report at the Serpong Police. Police said the identities and whereabouts of the three perpetrators were still being pursued.

"Currently, the perpetrator is still being investigated," said Ade.

Akibat pembegalan yang terjadi di Jalan Sumatra, Jembatan Kali Angke Lengkong Gudang, Serpong Timur, Tangsel pada Jumat, 30 Agustus dini ini, korban mengalami kerugian sepeda motor yang ditaksir senilai Rp18 juta.
