French-made Falcon 8X Arrives, Ready To Help Indonesian Air Force Maintain The Indonesian Air Territoriality

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Air Force (AU) has welcomed the arrival of the second Falcon 8X aircraft with registration number A-082 at the Air Squadron Apron 17 Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base, East Jakarta, Thursday 29 August.

Based on the official TNI AU press release received in Jakarta, Friday, August 30, the plane was greeted directly by the Commander of Air Operations Command I, Young Marshal TNI Mohammad Nurdin.

Nurdin was also seen performing several aircraft welcoming rituals, such as water salute and giving flower necklaces to two pilots from Dassault and two pilots from the Indonesian Air Force.

After performing the welcoming ritual, Mohammad Nurdin immediately entered the Falcon 8X A-002 aircraft to directly inspect the engine parts and other facilities.

In a press release from the Indonesian Air Force, it was explained that the aircraft produced by the French Dassault Aviation company will be operated by Air Squadron 17, Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta.

This aircraft will later serve as a control command aircraft for elements of the TNI/TNI AU leadership.

With this aircraft, the Indonesian Air Force believes that Indonesia's air fighting strength will be stronger in maintaining the territory of the Republic of Indonesia's air.

The Falcon 8X aircraft is equipped with three engines and capable of flying with a cruising range of 11,945 km and has takeoff and landing capabilities on short runways.

In addition, Falcon 8X has a new, more modern cockpit design, improved engine performance in terms of thrust and fuel efficiency, larger fuel tanks and new structure designs for aircraft optimization.

Then the speed can reach 0.9 mach numbers, which means above 500 knots or 900 kilometers per hour.
