Aher Appointed As Chairman Of The Victory Of Syaikhu-Ilham Habibie In The West Java Gubernatorial Election

JABAR - Former Governor of West Java (Jabar) who is also Deputy Chairman of the PKS Shura Council Ahmad Heryawan admitted that he was suddenly appointed as chairman of the winning team from the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor of West Java Ahmad Syaikhu-Ilham Habibie.

With the appointment of Aher, Ahmad Heryawan's nickname, the former West Java leader for two terms will be the commander of the winning pair promoted by PKS, Nasdem and PPP.

"On the way, I was just appointed team leader, (but) usually suddenly so suddenly it's usually a success," Aher said at the West Java KPU Building, Thursday.

Aher, who is the representative of the coalition team to register, said the goal was to bring the two candidates for governor and the prospective deputy governor candidate as an effort to win the pair in the 2024 West Java gubernatorial election.

"I came to deliver and asked the West Java KPU to accept our registration. We came here to win. After registration, after receiving it, God willing, we will continue to follow the process well, begging the chairman of the KPU to accept our registration," he said.

Things that suddenly came from the pair who was abbreviated as IH, apart from the appointment of the Chairman of the Winning Team, were also from the coalition parties involved.

Where PPP joined PKS and Nasdem to carry Syaikhu-Ilham, this Thursday.

"The tube is early in the morning at unit hours. That's why when we made a limited declaration there is no PPP logo yet. But thank God we can now join," he said.

It is known that the candidates for West Java Governor Ahmad Syaikhu and Ilham Akbar Habibie officially registered to compete in the 2024 West Java gubernatorial election to the West Java KPU office, Thursday, using a classic vehicle.

The couple came to the West Java KPU at around 10:45 a.m. driving a blue navy VW car, accompanied by figures from the supporting political parties, PKS, PPP, NasDem, and sympathizers.

They came and then filled out the attendance list which then entered the hall to submit registration documents with the presence of all KPU and West Java Bawaslu commissioners.

The chairman of the West Java KPU, Ummi Wahyuni, welcomed the couple's arrival and invited them to give joy to the community at the moment of the West Java Pilkada.

"Welcome, we hope that the prospective pair can participate in carrying the Pilkada in West Java brilliantly," said Ummi.

The Syaikhu-Ilham data was received by the KPU in full and then, the West Java KPU will conduct an administrative check and then take a medical test at Hasan Sadikin Hospital (RSHS) Bandung.

"We will check administratively later, then tomorrow at 07.00 WIB a medical examination will be carried out at RSHS Bandung," said Ummi.
