CIANJUR - The pair of candidates for the Cianjur Regional Election, West Java, Mohammad Wahyu and Ramzi, artists and presenters to the Cianjur KPU office, received a lively welcome from the residents.

The arrival of candidate pairs promoted by the Nasdem Party, Gerindra, PSI, and the Labor Party accompanied by a group of successful teams, political party leaders, and sympathizers using a number of cars became the center of attention, especially residents who wanted to see Ramzi up close.

After registering and submitting the file to the Cianjur KPU, the screams of residents echoed again asking Ramzi to approach the fence so that they could smile and take selfies with those who had come from various sub-districts in Cianjur.

"I've been coming since morning, I just wanted to see Ramzi, who usually appears on television because he received news that he registered himself as a candidate for deputy regent," said a resident of Rosmita (35), a resident of Sayang Village, Cianjur, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 28.

The same thing was conveyed by another group of mothers who tried to approach a luxury SUV that brought Wahyu-Ramzi, where they came to the KPU Cianjur only wanted to meet Ramzi, but denied who would choose who in the Cianjur Pilkada.

"The intention is just to meet Ramzi when it comes to choosing the leader of Cianjur in the future, see later," said the mother of a resident of Cugenang District, Eti Sumiati.

The Candidate for Cianjur Regent, Dr. Mohammad Wahyu, said that from the start he had agreed to run through the Nasdem Party with Ramzi but one day before registration the two again received support from the Gerindra Party.

"This adds to our strength to advance in the Cianjur Pilkada by bringing the motto of the New Era Cianjur, we are ready to contest the incumbent pair," said a specialist doctor who chose to resign as a State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at the Cianjur Sayang Hospital.

Not only support from political parties, both of them received support from the big name of the former Cianjur Regent Tjetjep Muchtar Soleh and Irvan Rivano Muchtar who is Wahyu's father-in-law and brother-in-law.

However, Wahyu said that the support of the Cianjur community is the main capital, so his party targets to activate the function of the RT by providing more incentives and free health costs in all hospitals in Cianjur.

"I free the costs of all hospitals in Cianjur because I am a doctor, we will increase the number of hospitals and increase the incentives for the head of the RT to Rp. 25 million per year," he said.
