Adian Napitupulu And Ahok Will Campaign Pramono-Rano Karno In The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election

JAKARTA - The candidate for governor of Jakarta, Pramono Anung, said that PDIP Deputy Secretary General Adian Napitupulu would lead the winning team in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. He admitted that he had submitted this request to PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri and PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto.

"I have conveyed to the General Chairperson and to the Secretary General, I ask that Jakarta can be led by Adian Napitupulu," Pramono told reporters at the DPD Jakarta Office, Cakung, East Jakarta, Wednesday, August 28.

He also said that Basuki Tjahja Purnama or Ahok would also field. In fact, Ahoker or a loyal supporter of the former Governor of DKI Jakarta will later move.

"Pak Ahok is not only alone, Pak Ahok is with the Ahoker, they are now starting to move and I have also communicated with them," he said

As previously reported, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno officially registered with the Jakarta KPUD as a candidate for governor and deputy governor on Wednesday, August 28. Both of them became the first participants to register.

This registration marks the opportunity for Anies to be promoted by PDIP in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. Whereas previously the name of the former Governor of DKI Jakarta was widely rumored to be carried by the party bearing the bull symbol.

In fact, Rano Karno had met with Anies in red on Monday, August 26, or when PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri announced the candidate for the head of the third wave of the region. The meeting was held at the PDIP DPP Office Building B.
