Rano Karno Leaks Anies Baswedan's Speech: 'Bang If We Become, What Should We Do?'

JAKARTA - The candidate for Deputy Governor of Jakarta who is promoted by the PDI-P (PDIP), Rano Karno, revealed his conversation with Anies Baswedan, who had met some time ago.

During the meeting, Anies was said to have conveyed things that must be done when juxtaposed with Rano Karno as a candidate for governor and cawagub in Jakarta.

It started when Anies was said that he had wanted to meet him in person because his residence was both in the Lebak Bulus area, South Jakarta.

"Actually, it's been a long time, bro Anies wants to meet me, he wants to stop by the shop, coincidentally, my house is not far from Lebak Bulus. I'm in Bumi Karangitan, my friends know I have a shop," said Rano at the DKI KPU Office, Wednesday, August 28.

Then, Rano said Anies invited him to have a meeting on August 26. Moreover, at that time their whereabouts were not far away

Rano is located in the PDIP National Cultural Agency (BKN) building not far from the PDIP DPP Office.

"It's just that I never got the time to meet at that time, he asked 'Where is my brother?' 'I'm in BKN'. So friends can know that he visited not the Party DPP but the BKN of the Cultural Agency, coincidentally the building behind (PDIP DPP)," he said.

On that occasion, Anies said that he mentioned the plan to be juxtaposed with Rano Karno by the PDI-P to run for the DKI Regional Election.

"Why? Talk, just talk about what? Yes, of course, everyone knows that there is a discourse between Anies and me, we'll talk 'bang if we become what we have to do?' It's normal, actually," he explained.

However, in the end, Rano said that Megawati did not choose Anies and appointed Pramono Anung as Cagub DKI.

"This means that the decision is not with me or Anies with me, but it doesn't mean that we don't become friends, he's very supportive," said Rano Karno.
