Coalition Of Political Parties Supporting RK-Suswono Complete Support Administration

JAKARTA - The coalition of parties supporting Ridwan Kamil-Suswono completed the administration of support from the party to the candidate pair for governor and deputy governor for the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

The completion of the support administration was marked by the submission of official documents from the chairman and secretary of the Jakarta-level supporting party to the Chairman of the RK-Suswono Success Team, Rany Mauliani and the Secretary of Selamat Nurdin in Jakarta, Tuesday, August 27.

Secretary of the RK-Suswono Success Team, Selamat Nurdin in his statement in Jakarta, Tuesday, said that his party complies with the KPU's rules, namely using vote calculations as a basis for support. "This is a positive development because more and more parties can actually support the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono pair," he said as quoted by ANTARA.

Chairman of the RK-Suswono Success Team, Rany Mauliani, said that the coalition of supporting political parties named "Jakarta Rido" is now getting more solid after the Constitutional Court (MK) decision which changed the basis of support from the calculation of seats to vote calculations.

"The Constitutional Court's decision has changed the pilkada playing field in Jakarta. However, for us, that is the dynamic that must be faced," he said. Gerindra Party.

On the same occasion, the candidate for governor of DKI Jakarta, Ridwan Kamil, invites all supporting elements, including political parties, volunteers, and the community to be able to provide their best support.

He also invited them to be able to enliven the momentum for registration of regional election participants which will be held on Wednesday (28/8).

This regional election is emphasized as a moment of unity and togetherness. All supporting elements, both political parties, volunteers and the community, are involved in this registration celebration as much as possible. "We make this registration event spread joy," said RK.

The candidate pair for governor (cagub) and candidate for deputy governor (cawagub) of DKI Jakarta Ridwan Kamil-Suswono will register with the DKI Jakarta KPU on Wednesday (28/8) afternoon at around 14.00 WIB.

When registering with the DKI Jakarta KPU, the cagub cawagub pair will be accompanied by representatives from the supporting political parties and supporters as well as representatives from the Betawi community who take part.

In addition, there will be a cultural carnival with tanjidors, lion dances and other art entertainment.
