PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) officially announced six pairs of regional head candidates in the 2024 gubernatorial election at the PDIP DPP Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta today, Monday, August 26. One of them is Andika Perkasa-Hendrar Prihadi who ran in the Central Java gubernatorial election.
“That the total number of pairs of candidates for regional heads and deputy regional heads that have been decided by Mrs. Megawati Soekarnoputri comes from 60 regions. The provincial level is six provinces,” said PDIP Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto when delivering his candidate for regional head and deputy.
The reading was carried out in front of PDIP General Chair Megawati Soekarnoputri and internal staff. They are PDIP DPP Treasurer Olly Dondokambey and his deputy Said Abdullah, Rudianto Tjen, and Yuke Yurike; as well as PDIP Deputy Secretary General Yoseph Aryo Adhie Darmo. 2. Banten, Airin Rachmi Diany - Ade Sumardi
3. Central Java, Andika Perkasa - Hendrar Prihadi or Hendi
4. Gorontalo, Hamzah Isa - Andurrahman Abubakar Bahmid
5. East Nusa Tenggara (NTT), Yohanis Fransiskus Lema - Jane Natalia Suryanto
6. North Kalimantan, Andi Sulaiman - Andri Partono.
After the reading, representatives of candidates for regional heads who were promoted received the submission of a Decree (SK) from the PDIP DPP. Megawati directly handed over the decree to the regional head candidate.
As previously reported, PDIP has announced that the candidates for regional heads will go through two waves. However, the party bearing the bull symbol has not announced a candidate pair in the Jakarta gubernatorial election even though the name Anies Baswedan is predicted to advance.
