PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) officially announced six pairs of regional head candidates in the 2024 gubernatorial election at the PDIP DPP Office, Menteng, Central Jakarta today, Monday, August 26. After the reading, representatives of candidates for regional heads who were promoted received the submission of a Decree (SK) from the PDIP DPP. Megawati directly handed over the decree to the regional head candidate.

As previously reported, PDIP has announced that the candidates for regional heads will go through two waves. However, the party bearing the bull symbol has not announced a candidate pair in the Jakarta gubernatorial election even though the name Anies Baswedan is predicted to advance.
