Minister of Health (Menkes) Budi Gunadi Sadikin stated that his party would announce the results of an investigation related to the case of bullying at Diponegoro University (Undip), Semarang, which resulted in the suicide of a student of the Specialist Doctors Education Program (PPDS). "Hopefully this week it will be announced together from the Ministry of Health and the police regarding the results. This week the results, ” said Minister of Health Budi when met in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Monday, August 26. Previously, Minister of Health Budi also revealed that many PPDS participants wanted to commit suicide. "We have also carried out mental screening of these PPDS and many people want to commit suicide. So, this is already a big phenomenon, which is happening," said the Minister of Health. The Faculty of Medicine (FK) Undip Semarang also conveyed his openness to the ongoing investigation process of the death of PPDS student Aulia Risma Lestari. "We are open to investigations and will not cover up," said Dean of FK Undip Yan Wisnu Prajoko. According to him, currently investigations from the Inspectorate General (itjen) of the two ministries and the police regarding the incident are still ongoing. The two ministry generals are the Itjen of the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) and the Itjen of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (Kemendikbudristek). In addition, Deputy Minister of Health (Wamenkes) Dante Saksono Harbuwono also said that the Ministry of Health would follow up on the results of investigations into cases of alleged bullying not only at Undip, but also all medical faculties in all vertical hospitals that are the education provider hospitals. "As previously, Mr. Melki (Deputy Chairman of Commission IX of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Emanuel Melkiades Laka Lena) has said that this culture (contraction) is not good. Doctors are a noble profession, they should be clean-hearted and this starts when they do education," he said.

According to him, good character in doctors began to be instilled from the time they studied undergraduate, and had to be continued after that level of education.
