Bahlil Announces Golkar Core Structure, Agus Kartasasmita Becomes Chair Of The Board Of Trustees

JAKARTA - The General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia, officially announced the structure of the party's core management at the Golkar Party DPP, Jalan Anggrek Neli, Slipi, West Jakarta, Thursday 22 August. In the announcement, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita was appointed as Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Golkar Party.

In addition, Bahlil appointed M. Sarmuji as Secretary General and Sari Yuliati as General Treasurer of the Golkar Party.

"Today I will announce several limited management in advance. This is a temporary step to comply with the provisions of the legislation," Bahlil said when delivering the announcement.

Bahlil explained that the announcement of this limited management structure is an obligation to fulfill legal requirements related to political parties. However, he has not announced the names of the advisory councils, the expert council, and the ethics board because they are still in the internal discussion stage.

"For now, I only announce a very limited core board. Other announcements, such as the chairman of the honorary council, ethics board, and others, will follow. This is in accordance with the provisions stipulated in the law," Bahlil explained.

On the same occasion, Bahlil also announced several other important positions. Adies Kadir, Tb Ace Hasan Syadzily, Melkiades Laka Lena, and Wihaji were appointed as Deputy Chairpersons of the Golkar Party. Puteri Komarudin became Deputy Secretary General, and Dyah Roro Esti served as Deputy General Treasurer.

"This is all I need to announce for now. The next announcement will be finalized as soon as possible," said Bahlil.

Bahlil also said that this announcement was made while considering the party's future agenda, especially regarding the Pilkada. "We still have to complete several important organizational agendas," he concluded.
