Harvey Moeis Continuation Session, Prosecutor Presents 5 PT Timah Officials

JAKARTA - The defendant Harvey Moeis underwent a follow-up trial in the alleged corruption case in the management of tin commodity trading procedures in the mining business permit (IUP) area of PT Timah Tbk for the period 2015 to 2022, today. The Public Prosecutor (JPU) presented five witnesses.

"Meanwhile, five witnesses (will be presented)," said Head of the South Jakarta District Attorney's Office (Kajari), Haryoko Prabowo, Thursday, August 22.

The witnesses presented were PT Timah Tbk officials, namely Ahmad Syahmadi as the former GM for Production of PT Timah Region Babel 2016-2020 Jan 2022-June 2023; Achmad Haspani, GM for the production of PT Timah Mineral Investment.

Kemudian, Kopdi Saragih selaku mantan Kepala Pelemburan dan Pemulihan PT Timah; Ikhsan Sodiqi yang merupakan Kepala Bagian penerimaan dan pengangkutan bijih unit darat PT Timah; serta Dudi Hatari, Staf asisten VP divisi SDM PT Timah atau mantan Kabid perizinan dan P2P PT Timah.

Harvey Moeis was charged with being involved in the alleged corruption of tin governance which caused a loss of Rp. 300 trillion.

In addition, Sandra Dewi's husband was also charged with money laundering (TPPU). Because, in the series of alleged corruption, Harvey Moeis received Rp420 billion.

Thus, in this case Harvey Moeis was charged with Article 2 paragraph (1) and Article 3 in conjunction with Article 18 of the Anti-Corruption Law in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code and Article 3 of 2010 concerning Money Laundering.
