JAKARTA - Call it Mahmud, a young man became a victim of stabbing in Kembangan, West Jakarta. The stabbing began with a verbal altercation between the two. Luckily Mahmud was still saved even though he suffered a stab wound to his chest.

Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Ade Ary Syam Indardi said the commotion took place in front of Nissan's showroom, Jalan Puri Indah Raya, Kembangan, West Jakarta, Saturday morning, August 17, at 01.00 WIB.

Ade explained that the commotion started when Mahmud was sitting relaxed with his colleague, at the scene. Suddenly Mahmud was visited by the alleged perpetrator, Prianto (not his real name).

Mahmud asked Prianto about his arrival, but the two of them got into an argument.

The victim (Mahmud) asked 'What's This', then the perpetrator replied 'It's Not Your Business'. Finally, there was an argument," explained Ade in his statement, Tuesday, August 20.

It seems that Prianto was annoyed with Mahmud, so he took out a badik sharp weapon (sajam) from his waist and stabbed Mahmud in the right chest.

"As a result, he suffered a stab wound to the upper right chest. A scratch on the lower left chest of the armpit," he said.

Satisfied with molesting Mahmud, Prianto fled. Then the victim was taken to the hospital by the witness for medical treatment.

Not long after, Mahmud made a report at the Kembangan Police. Unfortunately, the police did not explain the motive for this stabbing.

The case is handled by the Kembangan Police.
