Gibran Suddenly Attended Ridwan Kamil-Suswono Declaration Event

JAKARTA - Vice President-elect Gibran Rakabuming Raka suddenly appeared at the declaration of the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono duet which will run in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada. Gibran, who wore a light blue shirt typical of the Prabowo-Gibran campaign, came to the declration location at the Sultan Hotel, Jakarta, at around 15.30 WIB, August 19.

The eldest son of President Joko Widodo was immediately greeted by 12 secretary-general of parties who are members of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) Plus supporters of Ridwan Kamil-Suswono. "We welcome the Vice President-elect of the Republic of Indonesia, Mas Gibran Rakabuming Raka," said the host of the event who was immediately greeted with applause from the audience present.

Gibran hadir di tengah-tengah para sekjen parpol menyampaikan sambutannya. Sejauh ini, Gibran tidak terdaftar di partai manapun. Diketahui, Koalisi Indonesia Maju bersama partai politik lainnya yang tergabung di KIM Plus akan mendeklarasikan secara resmi pasangan Ridwan Kamil-Suswono sebagai cagub dan cawagub di Pilkada Jakarta 2024. Acara sidang dimulai sejak pukul 14.30 WIB di Hotel Sultan, Jakarta. Rencananya, acara deklarasi dilakukan pukul 16.00 dan berakhir pukul 17.00 WIB. Tercatat, ada 12 parpol yang mendukung Paslon ini. Yakni Gerindra, PAN, Golkar Demokrat, PKS, PKB, PPP, NasDem, PSI, Perindo, Garuda dan Gelora.
