PKB Ensures Ridwan Kamil-Suswono In The Jakarta Gubernatorial Election, Attends The Announcement Of KIM Plus Tomorrow

JAKARTA - Secretary General of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Hasanuddin Wahid ensured that his party took Ridwan Kamil-Suswono as a candidate for Governor-Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta. With the closeness of PKB to the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) which was filled by the Gerindra, Golkar, Democrat, PAN, and PSI parties, PKB was confirmed to have canceled carrying Anies Baswedan in the Jakarta gubernatorial election. "We make sure that the PKB together with Gerindra and who the candidates are carried out, we all know. Therefore, whatever statements from other parties are regarding where the PKB is, I think it is clear and the PKB final with Gerindra in the DKI Pilkada," Hasanuddin said in Jakarta, Sunday, August 18. The plan is that KIM Plus will announce a coalition of parties that will join Ridwan Kamil and Suswono as Jakarta's cagub-cawagub pair on Monday, August 19 tomorrow. Hasanuddin ensured that PKB was present as KIM Plus party. "PKB must be present, on the 19th. Surely PKB with them, come with them," said Hasanuddin. Furthermore, this member of Commission X DPR RI emphasized that he would not propose alternative cagubs other than the choice of parties that carry Prabowo-Gibran in the 2024 presidential election. PKB has one vote with the decision of the fat political party coalition. In this case, KIM Plus's choice of cawagub is Suswono who is a PKS politician. Meanwhile, in mapping Anies' previous candidacy, PKB rejected that Anies' cawagub came from PKS, Sohibul Iman. "Yes, follow other party friends who are formulated, representatives and so on. We'll just have to wait," said Hasanuddin. The daily chairman of the Gerindra Party, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, previously revealed that he would announce the candidate pairs for governor and deputy governor, Ridwan Kamil (RK) and Suswono who will be promoted in the Jakarta Pilkada, on Monday, August 19.
