BRIN Will Present Rice Biosalin, ANG LPG Replacement, and Hundreds of Innovations to President Prabowo

Jakarta - President Prabowo Subianto invited 150 researchers from the National Research and Innovation Agency or BRIN to the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, Thursday, August 6.

The plan is for hundreds of BRIN innovation products curated from various innovation clusters to be exhibited. This was conveyed by BRIN Head Arif Satria at the Presidential Palace Complex in Jakarta.

According to Arif Satria, the invitation is an opportunity for researchers to dialogue with President Prabowo Subianto. BRIN will also present findings and innovations that are considered to help answer various national issues. According to Arif, BRIN has several times presented research results in limited meetings, both at Hambalang and at the Palace.

Issues discussed include garbage, giant sea wall, water, food, and a number of other issues. The products brought were not few. Arif said there were about 12 research clusters on display. The number of products is more than 150 after being curated, even up to 200 products.

Not all research results can be brought to the Palace. Some products are in various regions. Some others are large in size so that it is not possible to exhibit them directly. Arif said President Prabowo is scheduled to tour the innovation.

Researchers will also be directly met by the President to get directions. BRIN will showcase research products in the fields of food, energy, fishing villages, Free Nutritious Meals or MBG, space, aviation, nuclear, rare earth metals, housing, transportation, and health.

According to Arif, BRIN is also preparing Biosalin Rice for Saline Land, National Research is mapped until 2045 BRIN also offers ANG as an LPG substitute, Arif Satria said it can save foreign exchange.

In addition, research on waste to the Giant Sea Wall, according to Arif, is ready to be presented to President Prabowo Subianto.
