Lepianus Zine Kogoya Superior In The Central Memberamo Pilkada Survey

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Election Study Institute (LKPI) issued the results of a survey related to the 2024 Regional Head Election (Pilkada) in Central Memberamo Regency, Papua Province, Mountains.

As a result, the name Lepianus Zine Kogoya excels in various survey simulations against other candidates.

"Lepianus Zine Kogoya is far ahead of the candidates for other regent candidates in the election for the Regent of Central Mamberamo in November 2024," said LKPI Executive Director, Togu Lubis in a survey release, Thursday, August 15.

Togu explained, in the electability level survey based on the question of the top of the mind of the candidate for the Central Mamberamo Regent for the period 2024-2029, Lepianus Zine Kogoya was in the highest position with 25.3 percent being selected.

Then, Yonas Kenelak 20.6 percent, Egypt Jikwa 11.6 percent, Berius Kogoya 10.7 percent, Itaman Thago 6.1 percent, Leonar Doga 5.1 percent, and Eremen Yogosam 3.4 percent.

In addition, other names such as Hengki Dani Yikwa, Amar Pagawak, Onny Bernie Pagawak, whose electability is below 2 percent. Meanwhile, 12.2 percent of those who have not made the choice.

Meanwhile, in the simulation of 8 candidates for regent, the name Lepianus Zine Kogoya received the most support reaching 26.3 percent.

Followed by Eremen Yogosam 17.2 percent, Egypt Yikwa 13.1 percent, Yonas Kerengak 12.7 percent, Berius Kogoya 7.2 percent, Aruam Pagawak 3.7 percent, Itaman Thiago 3.2 percent, Leonar Doga 3.1 percent, and did not vote as much as 13.5 percent.

"Then the simulation presented 4 lists of names of candidates for regent candidates with closed questions if the Pilkada is currently held, which figure will you/mother choose? Survey results show that Lepianus Regent Zine Kogoya will be supported by 32.7 percent, Egypt Yikwa 27.2 percent, Eremen Yogosam 17.7 percent, Yonas Kerengak 12.6 percent, and did not vote 9.8 percent," explained Togu.

LKPI also conducts head-to-head simulations between names of candidates for the Regent of Central Mamberamo. When dealing with Yonas Kerelak, Lepianus Zine Kogoya won with 46.4 percent. Meanwhile, Yonas Kerengak got 30.7 percent. As much as 22.9 percent have not decided or did not answer.

Likewise, when the head to head with Egypt Jikwa, Lepianus Zine Kogoya was still 41.8 percent superior. Meanwhile, Egypt Jikwa 32.3 percent and 25.9 percent have not decided or did not answer.

"Furthermore, dealing with Eremen Yogosam, Lepianus Kogaya again won 44.6 percent. Meanwhile, Eremen Yogosam was 38.1 percent, and 17.3 percent had not yet decided or did not answer," said Togu.

The LKPI survey was conducted in the period 4-12 August 2024 involving a sample of 900 Indonesian citizens in Central Mamberamo Regency who have the right to vote in the general election.

The survey method uses multistage simple random sampling with a margin of error of up to 3.24 percent at a 95 percent confidence level.
