Ridwan Kamil Admits He Is Ready To Be Paired With Suswono Maju Pilkada Jakarta

JAKARTA - Jakarta governor candidate Ridwan Kamil admits that he is ready to be paired with PKS cadre Suswono to run in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada.

"Mr. Suswono, if that's true, but I didn't overtake, I think I can easily adapt," said Ridwan Kamil after attending a recommendation ceremony from PSI for regional head candidates in South Jakarta, Thursday, August 15, which was confiscated by Antara.

The man who is familiar with RK explained that he had passed several regional head elections from the city level to the provincial level.

During that time, he admitted that he had been paired by many figures. That experience made him ready to be paired by any character.

"I always adapt to anyone who is matched as a partner in the election contestation," said RK.

RK continued, he would submit the decision on who the candidate for deputy governor would be who would accompany him to the coalition parties.

Previously, Chairman of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan revealed a figure with the initials "S" who was proposed as a candidate for deputy governor to accompany Ridwan Kamil in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada was the former Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia as well as the Chairman of the PKS Central Advisory Council (MPP) Suswono.

"Yes, someone has proposed Suswono," said Zulhas, his nickname, at the PAN DPP Office, Jakarta, Wednesday (14/8).

However, he said that Suswono's proposal as a candidate for deputy governor to accompany Ridwan Kamil had not been discussed with the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM).

"Not yet," he said.
