Police Reveal Husband Killer Body Of Woman Wrapped In Plastic In Cimahi

The Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) of the Cimahi Police arrested a female killer named Zakilah Indri Winata (21) whose body was wrapped in plastic when found in a house in Central Cimahi District, Cimahi City, West Java (West Java).

Cimahi Police Chief, AKBP Tri Suhartanto said the identity of the perpetrator was the husband of the victim himself named Sahir (24) who had the heart to kill his own wife, who was already in a rotting condition when he was found.

"Starting from information from the public who reported to us that it was found in a house where a corpse smelled a foul smell," Tri said in Cimahi, Wednesday, August 14, was confiscated by Antara.

The discovery of Zakilah's body on Tuesday, August 13, shocked the surrounding community. Tri said that Sahir's murder of his wife was carried out on Tuesday, August 6.

He explained that the chronology of the murder began with a quarrel between Zakilah and Sahir who then carried out the persecution by strangling him until the victim died.

"So the victim was smothered and then strangled until he was limp and then put in a sack and wrapped in plastic," he said.

Tri said the motive of the perpetrator to kill the victim was jealousy after Sahir found an intimate message from a man on the victim's cellphone until he got emotional.

"The perpetrator had time to read and saw that there was a message from one of the people so that the perpetrators made a fuss, started to get out of control of their emotions and did heinous acts," he said.

Furthermore, he said the deceased was left lying in the room before finally being found one week later on Tuesday, August 13. Then the perpetrator disguised the foul smell using a fragrance of clothes to coffee powder.

"We found the victim who was rotting in a plastic that was rolled and wrapped in a cloth, sarong, and others. His position was ready for the package, so it was wrapped and already tied up and Molto gave him coffee so he didn't smell it," said Tri.

For his actions, according to him, the suspect was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of 15 years in prison.
