This was conveyed by one of the initiators of Prodem, Sirra Prayuna in a discussion entitled 'Back to Jalan Democracy Sejati' in Kalibata, South Jakarta, Monday, August 12.

"The more sad it is because reforms have actually been hijacked and manipulated by power," Sirra said in the activity.

Prodem also highlighted that the aspirations of building a nation that is just, prosperous and prosperous have never been achieved. In fact, the 1998 reforms should provide fresh air and new hope for the nation's political journey

Moreover, it has also been carried out to strengthen democratic institutions up to four times the Amendment to the 1945 Constitution which should be the foundation.

Then the consolidation of democratic institutions is also carried out. Starting from the arrangement of state institutions, the birth of multi-party, to the limitation of the presidential term and the birth of new state institutions such as the Regional Representative Council (DPD) and the Constitutional Court (MK).

The Prodem was initiated by 10 people. They are Sirra Prayuna, Ultra Syahbunan, Arwin Lubis, Easter Irianto, Tandarkiaa Latif, Hatta Judge, Santoso, Swary Utami Dewi, Desyana, and Muchtar Sindang.
